BECK® 566
Genuine Horsehide Motorcycle Vest — Chestnut Brown
$1.590.000,00
Built from chestnut front quarter horsehide that shows its miles and only gets better with age, the BECK® 566 is for riders who want clean lines, American construction, and gear that lasts decades — not seasons.
Construction & Materials
The BECK® 566 in Chestnut Brown is the warm-tone version of the Northeaster foundation horsehide vest — same front quarter horsehide construction and feature set as the black 566, in a brown that reveals the character of riding more visibly. Brown horsehide darkens at crease points and develops a distinctive patina at the vest’s flex zones with regular wear and sun exposure.
Front quarter horsehide from a label that has built riding gear in the USA since 1928. One-piece back panel for clean patch display. Legendary Pistola™ tethered gun pockets, full-size Colt .45 ACP with integrated magazine and phone pouch, sag-proof. 1¼-inch stand-up collar. YKK scratchproof zippers. Twin chest pockets with hidden snaps and integrated sunglass holder. Cropped zipper with hidden snap closure. Perma Core thread by American & Efird (A&E). Nylon Oxford liner. Made in the USA.

How long does the break-in take?
Heavy and stiff for the first few wears — then it gives and molds to you. The density is the point.
Can I sew patches on without gutting the liner?
Yes — the one-piece back is a clean canvas, and the liner construction lets a stitcher work without opening the vest up.
Do the CCW pockets fit a full-size pistol?
The Pistola™ pockets are deep and secure, seamed into the chest panels — left and right. Riders call them out by name in the reviews.
Should I size up to wear it over a hoodie?
No — order by your actual chest measurement. The cut already allows for a flannel or hoodie. Riding heavy layers all winter? Take one up.

Questions
Before you ride.
How long does the 566 take to break in?
Heavy and stiff for the first few wears — then it gives and molds to you. The density is the point.
Can I sew patches on without gutting the liner?
Yes — the one-piece back is a clean canvas with no center seam, and the liner construction lets a stitcher work without opening the vest up.
Does the brown patina differently than the black?
Yes — chestnut aniline horsehide shows wear faster and more visibly. Creases, rub points, and sun exposure all leave their mark. That's the appeal.
Should I size up to wear it over a hoodie?
No — order by your actual chest measurement. The cut already allows for a flannel or hoodie. Riding heavy layers on a bagger all winter? Take one up.
What's the shipping and return policy?
