The shade is rich and masculine, the cowhide is 1.4mm thick and holds structure well, and the no-center-pocket configuration keeps the front reading as clean leather rather than a utility panel. The cropped cut is versatile enough that I wear this vest off the bike too. I ordered a large and the fit is close without being restrictive through the shoulders. It's been about three months and the leather is breaking in nicely — the chocolate color is developing some depth in the high-wear areas that looks natural and earned. Construction is American and you can feel it in the seams and zipper quality. A vest like this at this price point is hard to argue with.

Quality is over the top great. One thing is the pictures of the product on the site are not as good as in person. I was shocked. I had to order a custom 6XL, but worth the wait.
