More about this glove
The Churchill Short Wrist is the minimal-cuff version of the longest-running American deerskin riding glove — made by the Churchill family in the USA since 1897, using the same domestic Whitetail deerskin that has defined the Churchill glove for over 127 years.
The short wrist profile sits at the wrist bone, working cleanly under or over jacket sleeves without bunching. Domestic Whitetail deerskin weighs roughly half of cowhide at equivalent protection and maintains natural thermal performance across a wider temperature range than processed hides. Unlike cowhide, it stays pliable after repeated wet/dry cycles without conditioning — it softens with riding. The elasticized wrist cuff provides a snug fit that stays in place at speed without restricting hand movement.

Dexterity
Everything you do on a bike — gloved.

Fit
Snug at the palm.
Nothing at the fingertip.
A riding glove should fit like a firm handshake: no slack in the palm — that is where blisters start — fingertips just touching the end, knuckles free to make a fist around a grip.

Fist around grip — correct fit

Measuring around the knuckles
Between Sizes?
Deerskin stretches about a quarter size to your hand. Take the snugger size for bare-hand feel — the larger if you run liners in the cold. Exchanges are free either way.
