Every snap has a genuine buffalo nickel cover and it gives the vest a great western look you won't find on others. The 25 inch back length with the scoop hem sits right. Cowhide is medium weight and comfortable. Mine fit true to size in the chest. A little tighter across the shoulders than I expected but nothing a few rides didn't fix.

Did a three-state run last fall — Oklahoma, Missouri, Kansas — four days in the saddle. The Peacemaker came along the whole way with my Smith & Wesson riding in the gun pocket. Most carry vests are just functional — you use them for the gun pockets and that's about it. The Peacemaker actually has some style to it. The leather is a good weight — not paper-thin but not so stiff that it takes forever to break in. Gun pockets accommodate a full-size sidearm and hold it steady while riding. The vest sits at a mid-price point in the Legendary lineup which makes it a good option if you want carry capability without going all the way up to the Outlaw or Reaper price. I've taken it on two long weekends and it performed without any issues.

Upon opening it, folded very nicely with very clear instructions on trying it on and inspecting it for any issues with the tags still on it in case it needed to be returned. Felt very taken care of but thankfully it fit perfectly and there was no damage too it. I'm 6'2" 230lbs and ordered the XL which fit perfectly and concealed a S&W 2.0 sub compact perfectly! I bought the the size I wear for other jackets and it fits well. The side adjustments allows you to adjust to what you want. Snaps work well. Each inside pocket will hold items nicely.

I'm 5'8" & 175lbs and the large fit me perfectly. Comparing this to a Harley-Davidson vest that I have, the leather seems a little thicker and not quite as flexible but it will probably wear longer. The only negative is the liner isn't as smooth and silky as the one in the Harley vest. It was just what I needed though as a blank canvas for my club patches. I chose Legendary because I wanted a vest that was made in the USA. All in all I'm satisfied with the purchase.

This is a very nice quality vest, made in the USA. I ordered the wrong size, a large when I should have ordered a medium.
