Some jackets are new.
This one has stories.

The 100 Mission B-3 replicates a WWII bomber jacket that survived over a hundred combat missions — and gets there honestly, one jacket at a time. Cockpit USA artisans distress each piece individually, using proprietary techniques founder Jeff Clyman developed across 35 years. The construction carries the wartime details: reinforced horsehide sleeves, a horsehide map pocket, the Army Air Force Wing & Star on the left arm, aged latigo straps with antique-brass Cockpit-engraved buckles, and vintage labeling. Historically correct russet. No two pieces ever identical. Made in the USA.

Aged before
its first winter.

The American shearling is specially treated to achieve the look and feel of a jacket that logged countless sorties — then distressed further, by hand, one jacket at a time.

Yes — underneath is full thick American shearling. The 100 Mission is as warm as any B-3 in the line.
