This one has the airflow of perforated cowhide and the security of zipper chest pockets. It runs slim so I sized up and it works well. Cropped length is comfortable seated and it looks sharp over a plain tee. Perfect for the late summer riding I do around here.

I already owned the solid Lowlife Z and decided to grab the perforated version for summer runs. Here's how they compare: both cut the same, both hang the same, and both have that flat patch-ready back panel I count on. But in temps above 85 degrees the perforated one is in a different league. The air circulation is real, not just marketing. On a long Saturday run through the mountains I didn't feel like I was baking inside my vest for the first time in years. The cowhide feels slightly softer than the solid model too, which I wasn't expecting. If you're a warm weather rider or live somewhere that never really cools down, this is the version to get.

I ride through June and July in the deep south and heat management is a real issue. Picked up the perforated Lowlife Z after sweating through my solid leather vest one too many times.
