White leather doesn't soak up heat like black does, and with the perforations it was the coolest vest I owned on a ninety degree ride. Cropped cut, no chest pockets, very clean look. Keep it clean though, white shows everything. I wipe it down after every ride and it looks great.
Rode into Daytona in this and had people stopping me to ask about it. White Monster is a bold choice and it delivers — the white perforated cowhide is clean and the cropped fit looks sharp.
I've got six riding vests and none of them get the reaction the White Monster gets. The white perforated cowhide is genuinely striking — it photographs well, it looks sharp in person, and it holds up to actual riding. I've put it through two months of summer riding and the leather has aged cleanly — no cracking, no staining, no discoloration. The perforations keep it breathable in heat that would make a solid leather vest unbearable. Cropped length sits right at the waist and the fitted cut doesn't add bulk. This is a vest built for riders who want to stand out without sacrificing quality. The construction is all American made and it shows in how the seams sit and how the armhole binding lays flat. I'll be wearing this one for years.
Most white leather I've encountered in the moto gear world is either cheap or falls apart after a season. The White Monster uses 1.4mm naked perforated cowhide that has genuine substance. The white finish is clean without being blinding — it has a natural leather texture to it rather than looking painted or sprayed. The perforations do real work in warm weather, moving air across the chest and back at riding speed. The cropped cut sits 3 inches shorter than a full-length vest which keeps it proportional and clean under a set of colors. The back panel is flat and ready for patches. I've had mine for several months and the white leather has held its color better than I expected — no yellowing or graying so far with regular conditioning.

everything from the fit to to the white perforated leather is excellent. One thing I noticed is the Square Grouper photo is of a top non perforated yoke, I know they stopped making that style and just all perforated like I received which I like better, but if Legendary is reading this you may want to update the pic. quick review: this is exactly what I was looking for. Live in Texas and I needed something to deflect the heat, but still be secure & tough. I don't like baggy vests or extra padding etc. The white perforated is sick. Love the fit and the airflow is excellent. Hi highly recommend this vest, and all of Legendary USA vests. I've been a long time customer and really can't beat their quality and the fact they make in the USA.
Love the vest and the way it looks, but the arm openings felt a little snug at first. After a couple wears, it broke in fine. Overall, very happy with the quality.
