Wore this on a ninety degree day and didn't hate life. The Cordura body is a lot lighter than full leather and the leather trim on the pocket flaps looks sharp. Water beaded off it during a quick shower too.

Ordered a large and it's a little roomier than expected, so I'd suggest sizing down if you're between sizes. That said, the vest itself is well constructed and noticeably lighter than anything leather in my closet. Good for hot days when you still want the club look without the weight. Happy with the purchase overall.

The Black Jack is the vest I've been looking for. Cordura fabric keeps it light and breathable and it doesn't trap heat the way leather does in July. Club-style cut looks right, holds patches well. I've had a few Legendary leather vests but this one is the first I'd actually ride in the summer heat without suffering.

I bought this specifically for touring in warm weather when leather just isn't practical. The Cordura is heavier duty than I expected for how light the vest actually feels. This is the kind of vest you grab when it's 90 out and you still want to look like you belong on a bike. I've put a few patches on it and they sit flat with no problem. Definitely a different vibe from leather but not a compromise.
