More about this glove

The Haymakers is Legendary USA’s most structurally differentiated riding glove — the Super Welted™ construction folds and double-stitches the palm seam flat rather than overlapping it. The result is a palm surface with no raised center seam ridge against the grip, eliminating the pressure point that accumulates on standard riding gloves over long throttle-heavy trips.

100% American Whitetail deerskin, selected for a fiber structure that delivers tensile strength at roughly half the weight of cowhide. The deerskin molds to your grip over the first few rides and stays supple in wet conditions without conditioning. Every seam stitched with ultra-strong waxed American & Efird (A&E) industrial-grade thread, finely braided and flattened — a construction detail visible at the palm edge and built for the stress points that matter on a real ride.

Touchscreen-capable thumb and index finger. Elasticized wrist. Hand-cut and stitched in the USA. Featured in The Wall Street Journal Fashion Magazine.

Phone works with the gloves on

Thumb and index fingertips pick up my phone fine at gas stops, and the short cuff tucks right under my jacket sleeve. Deerskin is light.

Flat palm seam, no hot spot

Been riding a Heritage Classic about twenty years and every pair of gloves I've owned left a ridge across my palm on long days. The Haymakers have that folded, double-stitched palm seam and I just don't feel it anymore. The deerskin is lighter than the cowhide I was used to but it's held up through a few wet mornings so far. Short cuff with the elastic wrist is easy to get on and off at gas stops. Sized up one from my usual and the fit came out right.

Palm seam finally stopped bothering me

I ride a Softail most days and my last few gloves all left a pressure line across my palm by hour two. The Haymakers fold and double-stitch that palm seam flat, and I noticed the difference on my first long run. The deerskin is a lot lighter than the cowhide I was used to, and the waxed thread looks like it can take a beating. Touchscreen fingertips work fine when I stop for gas and need to check directions. Elastic wrist keeps the short cuff snug under my jacket sleeve. Black only, which suits me, and they've been on every ride since I got them.

Built for the Ride

The name fits. These are tough gloves. The super welted construction is obvious and it adds real structure to the glove. Deerskin keeps things comfortable inside.

Built tough and they look it

The Haymakers aren't for everyone — they're a biker's glove with substance. The fat welt stitching makes them look serious. Took a ride or two before the leather really softened up but now they're extremely comfortable.

The welted seams set these apart

Look up what a super welted seam is and then look at these gloves. They deliver exactly that. Durable and distinctive.

The construction on these is unlike any glove I've owned

I work with leather as a hobby — I make belts and small goods. The quality and construction on these Haymakers is something I notice right away. The fat welt is done cleanly with even tension across all the seams. American deerskin is the right choice for a glove like this — it has natural grip texture and it conforms to the hand with wear. I've had them for about four months and they're just getting better. These will last years.

Old-school biker aesthetic done with real quality

When I put these on the first time I understood what they were going for. The welt stitching, the deerskin, the short wrist — it's a classic biker glove executed at a level you don't see from the big brands. I ride a '74 Ironhead and these match the era perfectly but they're obviously modern quality.

Thick where it counts and

Thick where it counts and soft where it matters. The welting feels solid.

Thanks for the kind words. Exactly what we hope for from a daily pair.

Solid biker gloves with distinctive construction

The fat welt stitching stands out compared to anything else on the market. Grip is confident and the deerskin feels great. These look the part and ride the part.

Been riding 30 years and these are a different class

I've worn a lot of gloves. Cheap ones, expensive ones, everything in between. The Haymakers are something different. The super welted seams remind me of a quality work boot — the kind that lasts years. Deerskin softness combined with that heavy construction is a pairing I haven't seen before. I ride an older Shovelhead and these suit the old-school vibe perfectly.

Substantial gloves that took a few rides to break in

These are built heavy — the welt stitching adds real thickness to the seams. That means a little break-in time before the gloves fully flex with your hands. After about five rides they felt natural and now I love them.

The fat welt stitching is what sold me

I'd been looking at a few different biker gloves and kept coming back to the Haymakers because of that welt. I've seen it on boots but not gloves. It's a detail that makes these look and feel like real riding equipment. The American deerskin inside is soft and grippy. I've worn them in everything from 50-degree mornings to 90-degree afternoons and they perform well in both conditions. The short wrist design is clean and practical.

Made to last

These feel more substantial than my last pair. The welting adds a bit of protection, the deerskin still molds to your hand after a couple rides, and the stitching looks heavy duty. Built to last from what I can tell.

So glad to hear it. Good to know the knuckle padding is doing its job without slowing you down.

The welt stitching is serious business

I've never seen welt stitching this thick and prominent on a motorcycle glove. It's not just decorative — you can feel the reinforcement when you're gripping the bars. These are built for people who actually ride.

Stiff out of the box

Well made but stiffer than I expected out of the box, and the break-in took a while for me.

Love this. They loosen up quickly, and the fit gets better the more you ride.

A touch heavier

Solid build all around. They are a touch heavier than a plain glove and needed a short break-in.

Thank you for riding with us. Give them a week and they'll feel like they were made for your hands.
