Cockpit USA recreates one of the most historically significant Naval aviator jackets with this USS Forrestal Vietnam Fighter Pilot G-1. Hand-treated vintage goatskin, authentic squadron patches, and a beautifully silk-screened illustration of the USS Forrestal on the back bring this legendary piece of aviation history to life. Modeled after a real Vietnam-era pilot’s jacket—with the fur collar removed for warm-weather service—this G-1 delivers the exact look, feel, and spirit of the men who flew off the Tonkin Gulf during the conflict. Each jacket is distressed by hand, ensuring no two pieces are ever identical.

This faithfully reproduced G-1 includes Vietnam-era patches, the famous Tonkin Gulf Yacht Club insignia, and a hand-blocked sketch of the Forrestal CVA-59 across the bi-swing back. With 1950s-style flap pockets, knit trim, interior storage, and a lightweight lining with patriotic appliqué, this jacket blends museum-level authenticity with everyday wearability.
