The Cockpit USA General B-3 is the reinforced-sleeve version of the B-3 sheepskin bomber — plush heavyweight shearling pelts with goatskin-reinforced outer sleeves and goatskin shoulder epaulets. The goatskin sleeves retain their structure and appearance as the shearling body distresses to a suede finish, creating a visual contrast between the reinforced arms and the weathered torso that mirrors the construction of custom-modified WWII field jackets. Dual leather neck straps. Square antique brass buckles with Cockpit USA logo. Side-entry canvas handwarmer pockets. Adjustable leather waist tabs. Made in the USA.

Refund & Exchange Policy

We offer a 30-day return window from the date of purchase for regular-priced items, as long as they are unworn, unwashed, and have original tags attached. Customers may choose a refund, store credit, or exchange, subject to the following terms:

  • Items discounted by 20% or less are not eligible for refunds, but may be exchanged for a different size or color within the same style (pending availability) or returned for store credit.

  • Items discounted by more than 20% are considered final sale and are not eligible for return, exchange, or store credit. Please double-check sizing before purchasing discounted items.

  • Custom orders and sample sale items are final sale and cannot be returned, exchanged, or refunded.

  • Rothco-branded products are only eligible for store credit or exchange (no refunds).

  • No Return or Exchange Policy – Underwear & Tank Top

    For health, safety, and hygiene reasons, all sales of underwear are final.
    Once purchased, underwear cannot be returned or exchanged under any circumstances.

60-Day Holiday Exchange Policy

To make your holiday shopping worry-free, we’re offering an extended 60-Day Holiday Exchange Policy. Orders placed between November 20 and December 31 qualify for exchange or store credit up to 60 days from the delivery date.

  • A $15 processing fee applies to all returns and exchanges.

  • Shipping and handling charges are non-refundable.

  • Returns processed for a refund will incur a 10% restocking fee to cover handling and restocking costs.

International Shipping
Duties and taxes are the responsibility of the customer and may be levied upon delivery. Shipping estimates do not include custom clearance times. We are unable to create international return labels so return shipping is the responsibility of the international customer.

Cancellation Policy

Orders canceled will incur a 5% cancellation fee due to payment processing fees deducted from our account. We will refund you the remaining balance to your original payment method.

Delivery Policy
Typically packages will be left at your door and do not require a signature. Legendary USA is not responsible for stolen packages.

Damaged Items
Please let us know ASAP if any items on your order arrive damaged. Please keep all original shipping containers and take pictures if possible. Damaged item claims are handled through the shipping carrier (UPS or USPS). We will assist our customers in these claims. We only ask that customers be patient as sometimes this process can take longer than any of us would like!

My General jacket is the best cold weather piece of clothing out there. People ask me all the time where I got it. It is so warm that on the coldest of days here in Kentucky, Im only wearing a t-shirt underneath. Wearing anything more and Id be sweating like its July. Expensive? You bet! But worth it. One of the best investments Ive ever made. Its like putting on that old high school letter jacket. A since of pride come when wearing this jacket because you are wearing history. A history of bombing raids over Europe in those old B-17s and 29s. Yes, General Patton knew a thing or two about quality and this jacket is evidence of it. He wore it during the coldest winter to hit Europe in 50 years during the Battle of the Bulge and who would want to argue with him? He knew quality and you will too. This jacket will last a lifetime and will be a cherished heirloom. Dont settle for a cheap imitation. Get the real deal because you deserve it.

Choices, Choices

I am 5'11" and 165 lbs. My chest measurement is 39" so I got the size 40. It fits perfectly. True to size. Waist and arm lenght is perfect too. If you have any questions, just follow their instructions, you can't go wrong. The garment took 5 weeks to get here but the company kept me informed and I had no problem with it taking so long. It's summer and I ordered a winter garment, that was my choice. They were profesional and timely. I have no complaint. When I received the jacket, I was very impressed! the quality of material and craftmanship is superb. Made in America tag really means what it says. I cannot over emphasize how well it's put together. After seeing this jacket, I could not posibly go for an immitation. This jacket is worth the price, heavy but not uncomfortable, soft but durable, warm, classic good looks. I can take this and a pair of jeans and travel the world. I know my B-3 General will last me many, many years and I will be proud to wear it anywhere. I am making plans for trips to cold climate parts of the world, now all I need is my backpack and my jacket, good to go. I chose the B-3 General model over the RAF jacket and I believe I made the right choice. The zippers on the sleeves of the RAF interested me, but the belt just isnt my style, so the B-3 General it is, and I am glad I made this choice. Just my personal taste I guess.

B-3 Bomber Jacket

Excellent Quality, very warm. Only thing I would change is the fur around the bottom of the coat at the waist line and the fur protruding from the sleeves. I can see both of these area getting dirty fast. I know this is to be as authentic as possible, but an addition of a few modern things would really spruce up the jacket. I would add an inside pocket at chest level for your phone or wallet. Additionally, I would include in the delivery a care and cleaning guide. If this is standard, I did not receive one. Additionally, the web site says that it ships is 3-5 days, mine took close to 10 to receive, and I am like two states away in Maine. Overall, very satisfied with the product and I would recommend you to any one looking for a high quality, American Made Product !
