The Legendary Flying Fortress is an A-2 flight jacket built in the vintage style of the WWII era — full-grain vegetable-tanned goatskin specially treated during production to achieve an authentically worn-in appearance from the factory. Named after the B-17 Flying Fortress heavy bomber that conducted strategic bombing campaigns over Germany’s industrial and military targets during WWII, this jacket features a custom B-17 Flying Fortress printed liner as a tribute to the crews who flew the mission.

Vintage construction details: collar stand, hook-and-eye collar clasps, and snap collar and pocket fasteners following the original A-2 pattern. Side entry pockets. Interior pencil pocket and two horizontal inside pockets. Pill-Trol pill-free acrylic sleeve cuffs and waistband. Underarm gussets with vent holes. Civilian fit. Union-made in USA.
