First in our Motorcycle Legends Among Us series — meet Aymen, a lifelong Harley rider and host of the Old Not Dead YouTube channel, on what makes a modern motorcycle...

Meet Aymen — A Modern-Day Living Legend and Up-and-Coming Motorcycle YouTuber

Series 1, Legend 1 of our ongoing tribute to riders shaping motorcycle culture today.

What Makes a Modern-Day Legend?

It’s a feeling, not a definition.

In this series, we’re highlighting modern-day living legends — people who are obsessed with riding. We interview them, get to know them, and decide whether they make the cut.

A Legend, in our book, is a great steward of risk. They walk the tightrope of life, they are the life of the road, command tremendous respect, and are genuinely likeable people. A Legend is daring and courageous, a natural leader, and most often the salt of the earth — supporting motorcycle culture in unique ways. Legends earn most of their respect by being kind and respectful to the common man. And yes, there’s the other side, too: they tend to live in the fast lane, pushing limits well beyond average.

Aymen’s Riding Story

Since he was a young boy, Aymen has ridden and owned superbikes, sportbikes, touring bikes — and, of course, many Harleys. He purchased his first Harley new, a Fat Boy, when the model was released in the early nineties. He’s been riding Harleys ever since, including a few years working commercially as a Harley tour operator in the 1990s.

Aymen is now on his seventh Harley — a 114 Street Glide Special with a handful of performance mods to keep it kicking. Coming up through sportbikes, he discovered early that the Harley experience gets even better when you make them go harder. All of his bikes have run performance mods, in line with his general philosophy on life.

Aymen’s Philosophy on Life

This modern-day Legend is deeply into health, fitness, family, and personal development. He stays disciplined the same way he keeps his Harleys — in shape, fine-tuned, and always being modified for the next ride.

Aymen is a leader. He likes to encourage others to climb on board with a healthier lifestyle — mind, body, and soul. “It’s very easy to do once you know how.” To understand why we’re calling him a modern-day living Legend, tune into his YouTube channel, a self-funded hobby that’s rapidly turning into something bigger. You’ll learn about living life to the fullest, and you’ll walk away saying, “Damn, this guy is an absolute Legend.”

You’ll pick up culture, technical aspects of riding, and Aymen’s cool, calm, kind, jovial narration that makes his YouTube videos genuinely educational and exciting.

“We’re all getting older, and I’m of the belief that we can aim to improve the quality of life and continue riding into our old age — lol, we are OLD NOT DEAD!”

Aymen is spreading his love of motorcycling, culture, and health through his channel below.
