The hand braided leather work across the chest is impressive up close and the buffalo nickel snap covers are a conversation starter. Side lacing gives me room to adjust. Cordura lined gun pockets inside are well made. Stiff at first but worth the patience. Hardware feels solid, nothing rattles.

The gun pockets on this vest are the best-placed I've used. Easy to access, hold secure, and don't print through the front. Style matches the name — there's something a little Western and a little outlaw about the Gunslinger that I dig.

I carry everywhere I go and finding a vest that's both good-looking and carry-practical is harder than it should be. The Gunslinger solves that. The gun pockets are deep and placed well — I can reach my piece without contorting. The leather has a slightly Western character to the styling that I wasn't expecting to like as much as I do. It's not over the top — just enough detail to give it personality. Rode it to a rally last month and got pulled aside three times by guys asking about it. Priced right too, which surprised me given the construction quality.

Twenty years in the saddle and I've never found a vest that makes daily carry as simple as the Gunslinger does. The pockets aren't an afterthought tacked on — they're integrated into the design so the vest looks clean whether you're carrying or not. Leather is the right weight, broken in after a couple weeks of riding. The Western-influenced cut gives it some character without looking costumey. I wore it straight through a three-day run and it held up in heat, light rain, and a cold morning without complaint. My riding partner bought one two days after he saw mine up close. That's the best review I can give anything.

I have to say that the quality and detailed put into this vest is superior. I have been riding for over 40 years and this has to be the best quality vest I ever owned.

Exceptional quality however when I ordered you guys said it would ship in 1 day and I literally waited for 1 week even though the tracking was shipped in 2 days. That's my only issue. I called left a message then got an email that it was going to be picked up by postal service. If I call you and leave a message why not call me back? instread of writing an email? a brother pointed me to Legendary to get my cut and the level of detail and quality far exceeded my expectations. I am not a huge leather guy and will be honest not my wheelhouse, but I can see why the popularity especially since it's made in USA.
