The B-3 was designed for WWII bomber crews in unpressurized aircraft at high altitude — and its double-buckle collar seals remarkably well. The Hooded B-3 goes further: a detachable, raccoon-fur-trimmed sheepskin hood extends that protection to the face and neck. With the hood on, Cockpit USA calls it the warmest outerwear garment in their lineup; with it off, nothing about the classic B-3 silhouette changes. Same thick nappa-finished sheepskin, welted seams, and double throat latch. Regular and long sizes to 60. Made in the USA.

The jacket is full B-3: one hide doing wind, abrasion, and warmth at once. The hood is cut from the same cloth — sheepskin lined, fur-trimmed at the face.
