Should a motorcycle vest fit tight or loose?
Close to the body without strain. Snaps should close easily standing up, and the vest should not flap at speed. The back pulls taut in the riding position, so a perfect standing fit can feel snug on the bike.
Do motorcycle vests run small or large?
Neither, but they measure over a bare shirt. If you ride over a hoodie or flannel, measure over that and expect to go up one size.
What size vest fits over a hoodie?
One size up from your t-shirt measurement, or choose a side-laced vest that adjusts across seasons.
