The palm is 100% American Whitetail deerskin — the same leather used across the Legendary line, weighing roughly half of cowhide at equivalent protection. The fingerless cut dramatically reduces heat retention compared to a full-finger glove in summer temperatures, while the solid deerskin palm maintains the grip and durability that distinguishes a real riding glove. Perfect fit and high quality

I'm impressed with the quality and material used for these gloves. You can really feel it's genuine leather. Highly recommended.

Breathes better than any glove I own

Perforated back plus open fingers means my hands finally stay dry on hot rides, and the deerskin palm still holds the grips fine.

Cool hands on August rides

Fingertips out and a perforated back makes these the only gloves I can stand in the heat. Elastic tabs between the fingers make them easy to pull off.

Summer glove I actually use

I've got a drawer full of gloves that are too hot by July, so I figured I'd try the fingerless pair. The back panel is perforated all the way across and my hands stay cooler on slow city rides. The deerskin palm still gives me a solid grip on the bars, which I wasn't sure about without fingers. Little elastic tabs between the fingers make them easy to pull off at a stop. Velcro wrist adjusts quick and the stitching along the edges looks clean. I grabbed a size down from what I thought and the fit turned out right. These are what I reach for when it's hot out now.

My Summer Riding Gloves

In Arizona summers I stopped wearing gloves because full leather was too hot. The Legendary fingerless deerskins changed that for me. The open fingers let heat escape while the deerskin palm and back give me real protection where contact with pavement would happen. I can feel everything on the controls just like bare hands. My summer riding gloves from here out.

Works with a thin liner in cool weather too

I wear these into the fall with a thin liner glove underneath. The fingerless design works better with a liner than a full glove would — the liner just slips under the palm without bunching. Down to about 55 degrees this combo works for me. Good versatile summer-fall glove.

Best deerskin fingerless I've found after trying three other brands

I've tried fingerless gloves from three or four brands. The Legendary version wins on leather quality. American deerskin is just softer and tougher at the same time than the imported stuff. These will last multiple seasons.

Max airflow, free fingers

Maximum airflow for summer with my fingertips free for the phone.

Thanks for the honest feedback. Those conductive fingertips are a small thing that makes a big difference.

Light and cool for summer.

Light and cool for summer. The palm still cushions the grips fine.

Means a lot, thank you. Happy they're keeping you cool when the temps climb.

My wife picked these out and nailed it

She saw me looking at these online and surprised me. The deerskin is noticeably better than the fingerless I was using. The palm coverage feels right and the open fingers let you deal with everything on the bike without pulling gloves on and off. Good gift choice.

Sized up and the fit was exactly right

I have wide palms and usually struggle with fingerless gloves that are too narrow. Went up one size and the Legendary fingerless deerskin fits exactly right. No pulling across the knuckles, good closure at the wrist. The deerskin quality is real — soft and well selected.

Classic biker look that never goes out of style

Fingerless gloves have been part of motorcycle culture since before I started riding. The Legendary version does it right — American deerskin instead of cheap leather, clean stitching, proper fit. I wear these on summer weekend rides and they look as right as they ever have.

Parking lot work and slow riding in heat

When I'm doing slow speed maneuvering or working on my bike in the summer I want gloves that don't make my hands sweat. These fingerless deerskins give me palm protection for when I drop a wrench or need to steady the bike while the fingers stay free and cool. Light, well made, and they don't look ridiculous.

Made for July

Perfect hot-weather option for me. The perforated back keeps my hands cool, the palm padding still cushions the grips, and the open fingers make using my phone easy. Great for July riding.

Cheers for the review. Glad the touchscreen fingertips are earning their keep on the road.

Better grip feel than full gloves for my style of riding

I've been riding fingerless for three seasons now. The feel you get on the throttle and brake lever with open fingertips is just better for me — I can feel subtle vibration changes that full gloves mask. The deerskin palm on the Legendary fingerless gives protection without killing that tactile connection. American made and the construction is clean.

Palm fit took a ride or two to break in

The deerskin palm area on these fingerless was a bit stiff across the knuckle line for the first couple of rides. Once it softened up the fit and feel were exactly right. The open finger design is perfect for warm weather and the leather quality is real American deerskin.

Simple fingerless done with real leather

Nothing complicated here — deerskin fingerless glove with proper construction. The quality is what sets these apart from the cheap fingerless you see at the dealership.

My hot weather solution after years riding gloveless in summer

Broke in at the knuckles

I can’t say enough great things about Legendary gloves. Great for the heat. It just took a couple rides to break in around the knuckles.

Thanks for the support. A little break-in is normal with real deerskin, and they only get comfier from here.

Once again perfect

This is not my first review, I love their gloves and a big repeat customer for life. First time buying the fingerless and I truly love them on hotter days, well worth it once again.

Grip Strong

Fantastic deerskin, grip strong, hands cool — exactly what I needed.

Better highway glove than a short wrist

I switched to the classic length because I was tired of wind getting between my glove and jacket sleeve. The taller cuff fixed that without turning it into a full gauntlet. The deerskin is soft, light, and comfortable for long days. Mine needed a couple rides for the cuff to settle in, but now the fit is excellent. Touchscreen is a useful bonus.

Huge fan of their fingerless gloves. Even the two finger tabs to pull the gloves off are strong as could be. The quality of the deerskin is the best I ever felt hands down. TY
