The BECK® 501 Northeaster Flying Togs is the 1960s denim trucker silhouette in genuine horsehide — pointed chest pockets, vertical seams, and waist-length fit of the original trucker jacket translated into 1.3mm front quarter horsehide. Where denim provides warmth, horsehide provides warmth plus wind resistance plus abrasion resistance. The trucker cut in horsehide is the correct version of a garment that was always designed for working outdoors.
Covered snap front zipper, covered snap collar, and exposed snap cuff tighteners follow the original 1960s trucker design language. Two concealed carry pistola pockets, 9 inches deep, with 500 Cordura lining. Two exterior zippered hand pockets with 200 Cordura lining. Rear snap waist tighteners. Oxford nylon lining throughout. Stitched with Perma Core thread by American & Efird (A&E). Antique-plated brass hardware. YKK zipper. BECK®’s Northeaster Flying Togs label has produced horsehide riding gear in the USA since 1928.
