This is the finest leather jacket I ever owned. They accomodated my request for Chestnut Brown and Brass Hardware with no additional cost. Great guys, I plan to buy a 2nd jacket in black.

I'd been going back and forth on this for months because of the price, but the 999 feels like the last jacket I'll buy. Half belt design gives me full range of motion and the zippered hand warmer pockets are placed where my hands actually go on the bike. The vented underarm gussets help more than I thought they would. Stiff for the first few weeks and then it starts to take your shape. Chrome zippers and heavy A&E thread look like they will hold up for decades.

Let me be very honest here, my grandpa used to rock Beck back in the day and he even collected them. With that said, I inherited his collection of 9 pieces. They are in bad condition now, he swore by them. So long story short I picked up my first Beck 999 Northeaster Flying Togs and what a dime piece, absolutely incredible and you won't find this price for a horsehide especially from folks like Schott. This is my go to jacket as it's starting to get chilly up here in Wyoming. -Theo

Kimberly & Chris were excellent, I could not decide between a 44 or 46 and ended up sizing up to wear more layers. The 999 came in looking better than the photos. Absolutely love the cut, and looks excellent both on and off my bike.

At first I wasn't sure if the 999 fit my personality, but when I put it on I fell in love with it. Normally I am a cafe racer type, but this is a true vintage jacket.

Well this might take 2 seasons to break in. I'm in no rush, that's the nature of real horsehide. Well done!

Kimberly talked me through the sizing on the 999 and got it right the first time. Took about 3 weeks and well worth the short wait.

The construction is serious, every seam and zipper feels overbuilt in the best way, the fact that they are bringing back the BECK brand is very cool and glad to be part of it.

Stiff and substantial now, and I can already tell it will mold to me beautifully and was 1/2 the price of Schott!

I own a few motorcycle jackets, including one that cost a lot more than this, and honestly this one gets worn every time. The fit is spot on right out of the box and the leather feels broken-in without feeling flimsy. It has that perfect balance where it’s substantial but never bulky.

After a few minutes on, it moves with you and stops feeling like “gear” altogether. The craftsmanship and overall look are on another level, and it just feels right whether you’re riding or walking around. I’m genuinely impressed and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this jacket to anyone looking for something they’ll actually wear, not just hang in the closet.

I almost own every BECK series in every color, I am not bragging, but just so you know I am in love with these jackets. Why? Let me explain 1. They are meant to be used for riding, the way the arm movement with the bi-swing it's ultra comfortable while riding. 2. They nailed the length especially on the BECK 999 and on the Trucker 501. I'm usually a true to fit 44 - 44. 75 so I always have sized up to 46, because if I am wearing a jacket well it's probably cold enough to be wearing layers underneath so thats why I size that way. 3. Specifically the mid-weight horsehide on probably all of their jackets is the perfect weight for riding I would not want it any thicker or any thinner. It just all makes sense how they make them. 4. I only wear American made as much as possible the fact that they keep up with that tradition is astonishing. 5. Last but not least, go try and find an American Made horsehide motorcycle jacket anywhere, and don't even tell me Schott, because schott is overpriced like crazy and they haven't innovated at all to make their jackets rider friendly. Anyway, that's it keep ripping.

Received today, ordered custom given my size. Took 2 weeks, very prompt and responsive. I am cannot explain the quality of this jacket given the price. You won;t find this anywhere. In love with my Tripple 9.

It doesn’t have that fake costume look some distressed jackets have. It looked broken-in when it arrived and the patina has continued to change with wear. The shorter cafe cut is perfect on the bike because it ends right around my waist instead of bunching up.

I had a great experience purchasing my first horsehide BECK 999 with Legendary USA. Very nice store in Brick, NJ. Everyone was helpful and cool. I tried on every jacket in multiple sizes. It was a tough call but went with the more traditional biker jacket. Jackets fit as described. Thank you Legendary USA a real place to go for all your leather and riding needs.

first time BECK buyer my quick review is this. . . 1. the Horsehide is exceptional very tough feel, right amount of shine, think it's going to break in perfectly. 2. Hardware all perfect great zipper ykk. 3. Nylon oxford lining is very good I am not into fancy liners so this is ideal. 4. Very much like the half- belt, no messing around the back. 5. Over all 5 stars and this is excellent.

Once again you guys do amazing quality work. I cannot express to you my satisfaction with BECK. The size chart is true to size and what a great experience. Kimberly and Lori helped with sizing and I finally pulled the trigger. Love Legendary and everything they stand for thank you Dale W.

Only downside was it took 3 weeks because I ordered it custom, but you can't beat the quality like most other reviews mentioned on here. Horsehide is exactly what I was looking for definitely be back.

Outstanding. size 54, so tough to find a good fit (that's on me lol) but yeah for the price you probably not going to find it relative the quality. The 999 is a classic and most likely going to eye up the 666. For reference I received it 2 weeks ago, and each time I wear it I love it more and more. Thank you, Michael

It took a long time to make the decision, but I will say the reviews are dead accurate and this is an incredible jacket. I owned a few other horsehides but this one is flawless. very very happy with my decision.

Finally got a chance to ride in it this weekend and it was incredible. I literally have not worn it because the conditions have been terrible out here in Colorado. It needs a lot of breaking in, but it's such the perfect fit on my bike.

If anyone is considering the 999 I would highly recommend it. Such the perfect balance of both functionality and fit. The horsehide is some of the best I've purchased and for the price the quality is superior.

Superior quality, shocked tbh, I only wear horsehide and this jacket meets all my criteria at a fraction of the price.
