Legendary Flying Fortress Vintaged A-2 Goatskin Leather Flight Jacket

Right out of the box, this jacket feels like being reunited with an old friend.
It is the perfect weight, size and comfort I was looking for. This will serve me well on my daily missions in civilian life.

For years I was looking for an American-made flight jacket. Back in the eighties, I'd bought an American fleece-lined model from LLBean. Couldn't enjoy it much, since fortune took me to a warmer climate & Bean quit carrying flight jackets.

By comparison—other than the lining—this Legendary A-2 is of softer leather (goatskin), displays a vintaged finish, & has inside pockets on both sides. The quality is flawless, and it fits exactly the way the specs said it would—perfect for me, except too roomy through the chest (I'm tall and skinny). This just means it's versatile: In cold weather, there's room for an Icelandic sweater. I recommend this combination over fleece lining.
