Nylon Flight · The Insulated CWU
Summer pattern.
Winter build.
The CWU silhouette is the military's modern flight jacket — and this is its cold-weather form. Cockpit USA builds the CWU-55/P from mil-spec nylon flight satin over quilted poly-fill insulation, keeping the pattern's working details: bi-swing back for unrestricted movement, two Velcro-close cargo pockets, the left-sleeve zippered utility pocket, knit cuffs and waistband, and a Velcro field for name tape. One honest disclosure: the retail shell is not fire-retardant — that spec stays with the issue versions. Olive or Black. Made in the USA.

Mil-spec flight satin sheds wind; quilted poly-fill holds heat. Together they make the CWU-55/P the workhorse of the nylon lineup when the temperature drops.
Knit cuffs and waistband close the system — no drafts at the wrists or waist. Olive or Black.
