Construction & Materials
The Legendary Beatdown™ Perforated Oval-Cut Collar is the ventilated version of the Beatdown in the oval-cut collar profile — 1.3mm American perforated naked cowhide, cut 2 inches shorter than traditional club vest length and 0.75 inches more tapered. The perforations deliver strategic airflow across the body while the oval-cut collar provides a refined, softer neckline than the v-taper collar version.
Exposed black YKK double-action front zipper with multi-locking capability for user-controlled airflow. Partially hidden YKK zippered chest pockets. Two hidden side seam hand pockets. Two large concealed carry pockets with quick-release snaps. All-black hardware. Two-panel back. Black nylon mesh liner. Hand-cut and stitched in the USA.

Fit
True to size. Room to layer.
Order by chest measurement — there is room for a flannel or hoodie underneath. The chart is in the Size Guide.
Before you ride.
Should I size up to wear it over a hoodie?
No — order by your actual chest measurement. The cut already allows for a mid-layer. Riding heavy layers all winter? Take one up.
How long does the break-in take?
American leather starts firm and gives with wear — a few rides in, it starts taking your shape.
Can I put patches on it?
Most of our club vests take patches well. Check this model's back-panel construction in the photos, or ask us before your stitcher starts.
Shipping and returns?
Free US shipping and free returns on unworn gear. Full policy at checkout.
Why Riders Choose a Vest
Core protection. Full airflow.
Nothing between you and the ride.
A jacket is for weather. A vest is for every other day — leather over your torso, air on your arms, and a cut that works over a hoodie in October and a t-shirt in July.
Air moves
Full arm and shoulder airflow at 80° — where a jacket gets left home.
Nothing binds
Full reach to the bars — no sleeves, no ride-up, no bunching.
Layers all year
T-shirt in July, flannel in October, under a jacket in January.
Full-grain American leather
The Material
Every hide is different.
Every vest wears in to its rider.
Full-grain American leather, cut and sewn in the USA. Grain shift, scarring, and range marks stay visible — the surface is honest.
It starts firm and gives with wear, taking the shape of the rider underneath it.
Fit
Fits over the hoodie.
Sits right on the bike.
Order by your actual chest measurement — the cut already allows for a flannel or hoodie without going baggy. Longer at the back hem so it never rides up off the seat.
On rider — t-shirt
Same size — over a hoodie
Same vest, same size, both ways — the whole sizing answer in one photo pair.
Fit — True to Size
Heavy and stiff for the first few wears — then it gives and it is yours.
Full ten-size chart in the Size Guide. Riding heavy layers all winter? Take one up.
The Season
Built for the days a jacket stays home.
The Vest Line
