The venting is real — you can feel the airflow at highway speed. Still get that deerskin feel and grip on the bars. Touchscreen works great too. Solid choice for summer.
I absolutely love these gloves. They are extremely comfortable, and breathe well. The gloves also do well in the rain, and living in FL. that is common to get caught riding in the rain.
I was expecting the perforations to be more decorative than functional. They're not — you genuinely feel airflow through the back of the gloves at speed. Good build, good leather, good touchscreen function.
Daily riding in hot weather used to mean choosing between sweaty hands and no gloves. These make that choice easy — gloves every ride now even in August. Quality is there.
Rode from Charlotte to New Orleans in July and back. Heat was brutal most days. These ventilated gloves were essential for that trip. Wore them almost every day for two weeks and they never caused hand fatigue or discomfort. The deerskin stayed soft even with daily use. I've recommended these to three other riders in my club since getting back.
Some ventilated gloves feel flimsy because of all the holes and cutouts. These still feel substantial. The deerskin between the perforations is quality material and the gloves hold their shape. I've put several thousand miles on these and they still look good. Touchscreen function is convenient when I need to check my phone mount at red lights. The short wrist design is clean and comfortable under my jacket sleeve.
Straight comparison: wore my old non-vented leather gloves one day, these the next. Night and day difference in hand temperature. These are my summer standard now.
I live in Arizona and gloves are uncomfortable here from May through October if they don't breathe. These do. The venting is placed well — you get airflow where your hands run hot. Deerskin quality is excellent as always with Legendary. Third pair of their gloves and they've all been solid.
The perforated back actually moves air and my hands stay cool in slow traffic.

Nice deerskin and the venting works, but they run a little snug across the palm for me, so I would size up with wide hands.

These breathe well — definitely better than my unvented gloves in summer heat. The deerskin softens up quickly. They ran a touch snug when I first put them on but after three or four rides they conformed to my hands and now they fit exactly right.
Every summer I'd suffer through wet sweaty gloves by mile 30. These ventilated deerskin gloves changed that. The perforations let heat escape and my palms stay much drier even on long rides. I ride a Honda CB650R and do a lot of weekend trips May through September. These have been my primary gloves for the warm months for the past two seasons. The touchscreen capability is a genuine convenience at fuel stops.
Soft right out of the box. The grip on the bars feels secure even in the rain.

Bought these for summer commuting and they have been great. The venting keeps my hands dry on hot afternoons, and the short cuff tucks under my jacket sleeve without bunching. The leather softened up within a couple rides. Love the fact they are made in the USA.

my second pair of these, love them so much. The best perforated around IMO.
No graphics, no armor, no extra bulk. Just a really good deerskin short-wrist glove. The leather is soft, gives great feel through the controls, and the touchscreen thumb and index actually work. They’re unlined, so I switch to something warmer when the temperature really drops, but for most of the riding season these are hard to beat.
