I bought this because it's the best seller and I understand why. Runs in actual chest sizes so I ordered my number and it fit. The stand up collar and hidden snaps make it look clean. Union made in the USA, which I wanted to support. Medium weight cowhide was comfortable right away.

Club-style cut with gun pockets that work. Doesn't try to be fancy, just does what a riding vest needs to do. The cowhide is substantial and the carry pocket held my compact all day without any issues.

I put the Reaper through a full riding season starting in March. First run was a 400-mile weekend in early spring — cool temps, a little rain halfway through — and the vest handled it without any issues. The leather didn't warp or stiffen up from the moisture the way some hides do. Gun pockets kept my carry piece secure through all of it, including about six hours on the highway where I wasn't stopping to check. The club style back panel has been holding a three-piece set all season and the leather hasn't stretched or sagged around the patches. Stitching on the armholes is still tight. I've been wearing Legendary USA gear for a while and the Reaper sits in a price point that gives you most of the features of the premium models without going all the way up in cost. It's the vest I reach for every time I'm heading out for more than two hours.

The Reaper sits in the middle of Legendary's vest lineup in terms of price and it's a solid all-around club vest with carry functionality. The cowhide has a nice surface texture — not too polished, not too raw. It looks like a working rider's vest, which is what I wanted. Gun pockets are positioned well on both sides and accommodate a compact to mid-frame pistol without issue. The club-style cut means a clean flat back panel that's ready for colors. Front closes with snaps that stay shut at highway speed. I wore it for an entire rally weekend — three days of riding and hanging around — and it held up without any complaints. The leather started softening right around the second day.

It took a long time to find an American Made Vest that didn't have a zipper, a friend said to checkout Legendary USA and sure enough I settled with the Reaper. I've had it for more than a month and it's literally perfect in every way.

Smelled like leather on opening and is a high quality American made item. I got it a size bigger than my coat and it is a touch baggy over just a T-shirt but fits great over other shirts, hoodies, and even my leather riding jacket. The gun pockets eat everything up to my full size 1911 but the happy place is my Glock 46 or my S&W shield plus. Very happy with this purchase.

Awesome vest bought it a few years back, really well made and tough and heavy. Only thing with it is that its too thick and heavy for summer youll sweat to death in it, but other than that its the perfect vest and well worth the cash.

You can't get any better than this vest. I've had a couple lower end vest similar to this one and they were no where near the quality. I wish I would have spend the money on this vest the first time. The vest is thick leather and the gun pockets are top notch. It fit my Springfield XDs in great. Hell, I can even get my full-size 1911 in the pockets with ease. They also did a good job of adding clip holders in the gun pocket. Truth be told, I'd give this vest 6 stars, its that good.

This product is of great quality. The stitching is pristine in the leather is awesome. Definitely built to last. I would definitely recommend this to somebody using it as a club vest. The gun pockets are lined in leather and can fit a full size pistol in either one. If you're looking for a vest that's affordable and great quality I would consider legendary USA.
