The antiquing affects the grain, not a surface wash, and you can tell. It looks like I've owned it for years. Fit is good and the 3.0 oz leather feels substantial.

The Reckless Outlaw brings the same aged leather concept as the Neckless Outlaw but in an outlaw-style cut with a more traditional collar. The distressed cowhide has that natural-looking variation — darker where the leather is thicker, lighter where it's been worked — that gives the vest real character out of the box. At full outlaw length it covers your lower back well on long highway runs, which matters when you're getting wind. The back panel is one piece and flat, ideal for a full color set.
