The Persian Gulf blood chit was issued to coalition aircrew during Operation Desert Shield and Desert Storm (1990–91) — the most linguistically comprehensive blood chit ever produced, printed in 13 languages to cover the diverse civilian populations of the Arabian Peninsula, the Levant, and surrounding regions. The languages included Arabic in multiple dialects, Farsi, Kurdish, Turkish, and others — a deliberate decision by planners who anticipated coalition aircrew could be downed anywhere across a geographically and linguistically fragmented theater spanning Saudi Arabia, Iraq, Kuwait, and beyond.
The Persian Gulf chit occupies a historically significant position: it was one of the last blood chits issued before GPS technology and improved SERE training reduced the operational dependence on civilian assistance for downed pilots in subsequent conflicts. The Gulf War blood chit is effectively the final major-conflict blood chit in the traditional sense — the end of a program that began with WWII. At 13 languages, it is also the most linguistically complex blood chit in American military history.

Refund & Exchange Policy
We offer a 30-day return window from the date of purchase for regular-priced items, as long as they are unworn, unwashed, and have original tags attached. Customers may choose a refund, store credit, or exchange, subject to the following terms:

Items discounted by 20% or less are not eligible for refunds, but may be exchanged for a different size or color within the same style (pending availability) or returned for store credit.

Items discounted by more than 20% are considered final sale and are not eligible for return, exchange, or store credit. Please double-check sizing before purchasing discounted items.

Custom orders and sample sale items are final sale and cannot be returned, exchanged, or refunded.

Rothco-branded products are only eligible for store credit or exchange (no refunds).

For health, safety, and hygiene reasons, all sales of underwear are final.
Once purchased, underwear cannot be returned or exchanged under any circumstances.
60-Day Holiday Exchange Policy
To make your holiday shopping worry-free, we’re offering an extended 60-Day Holiday Exchange Policy. Orders placed between November 20 and December 31 qualify for exchange or store credit up to 60 days from the delivery date.

A $15 processing fee applies to all returns and exchanges.

Returns processed for a refund will incur a 10% restocking fee to cover handling and restocking costs.

International Shipping
Duties and taxes are the responsibility of the customer and may be levied upon delivery. Shipping estimates do not include custom clearance times. We are unable to create international return labels so return shipping is the responsibility of the international customer.
Cancellation Policy
Orders canceled will incur a 5% cancellation fee due to payment processing fees deducted from our account. We will refund you the remaining balance to your original payment method.
Delivery Policy
Typically packages will be left at your door and do not require a signature. Legendary USA is not responsible for stolen packages.
Damaged Items
Please let us know ASAP if any items on your order arrive damaged. Please keep all original shipping containers and take pictures if possible. Damaged item claims are handled through the shipping carrier (UPS or USPS). We will assist our customers in these claims. We only ask that customers be patient as sometimes this process can take longer than any of us would like!
