American Whitetail deerskin weighs roughly half what cowhide does at equivalent protection — meaning the insulated version of this glove still weighs less than a standard cowhide winter glove. The deerskin outer stays pliable in cold without stiffening the way cowhide does, maintaining dexterity at the throttle and brake when it matters most. The 3M Thinsulate 40-gram lining is warm enough for fall and mild winter riding while thin enough that clutch and brake feel aren’t sacrificed.
